The Württemberg cavalry regiments were organized into four squadrons each (plus a depot squadron). These were light cavalry units (two
chevau-legers regiments and two regiments of
chasseurs à cheval.)
My army had only one regiment of chasseurs (for reasons of number of bases) and the two regiments of
chevau-legers.
It was partly the uniform of the light horse which prompted me to choose the Würtembergeois when I sought to constitute an army of the Napoleonic era.
