Book IV Late middle-age and renaissance armies

The armies of this book are characterized by the abundance of two main types: armies resting on the load of their mounted knights (medieval French, Polish, etc.) and those favoring light cavalry (eastern armies)

Some armies of riders offer an alternative to these two types but the armies of infantry (HYW English , Post Mongol Samurai, Aztecs etc) are less common in this part of the book.
